Homemade Gotan Peel
1.
Raw material diagram.
2.
Rinse the hawthorn with clean water.
3.
Soak in light salt water for about 10 minutes.
4.
After soaking, rinse with clean water.
5.
Take a hawthorn, cut off both ends with a knife, cut in half (do not chop the seeds), and remove the seeds.
6.
After the seeds are cleaned, add half the amount of rock sugar and marinate for 30 minutes.
7.
Put it in a steamer and steam until soft.
8.
Put it in a food processor and beat it (I didn't take this step, forget it), then put it in a boiling pot, add the remaining rock sugar, stir fry until the rock sugar melts, turn off the heat.
9.
Spread tin foil on the baking tray and brush with a thin layer of oil.
10.
Spread the hawthorn sauce and smooth with a spatula.
11.
Put it in the oven at 80 degrees for 2 hours. (Try the temperature of your own oven)
12.
Roast until the fruit tannin peels can be uncovered whole.
13.
Just roll it up. (It can be wrapped in plastic wrap and can be stored for a long time)
Tips:
When the fruit peel is baked to the end, see if it can be uncovered in its entirety. If so, it is basically fine. The baking is too dry and not delicious. If there is no oven, you can ventilate and dry (1-2 days)
