Homemade Hawthorn Candy
1.
Raw material map
2.
Wash the hawthorn
3.
Boil water in the pot, pour the hawthorn into the pot and blanch it slightly
4.
Take it out quickly (don’t cook for a long time, otherwise the natural pigment will be weak), squeeze out the hawthorn seeds
5.
After adding water, use a cooking machine to make hawthorn puree (you can also sieve directly, the taste is more delicate)
6.
Add white sugar and cook in a stainless steel pot over low heat
7.
When it is boiled until it is sticky, add an appropriate amount of osmanthus sauce and cook for a while (in fact, the hawthorn sauce is ready at this time. If you want to make hawthorn sugar, you need to cook it for a while, and the sauce will be thicker)
8.
After cooking, pour it into a flat plate and let cool (thin thinner is better)
9.
After a few hours, take out the solidified hawthorn slices and cut into small pieces
10.
Just wrap it with plastic wrap
Tips:
Hawthorn must be eaten after meals. Eating it on an empty stomach can easily cause stomach acid. People with weak gastrointestinal function should eat less raw hawthorn.
