Homemade Sauerkraut
1.
Wash and shred cabbage
2.
Shred the cabbage, sprinkle with salt, and mix
3.
Control the water that comes out
4.
Put the cabbage in the bottle. I keep the bottle in summer. The coke bottle has a small mouth but is tightly sealed.
5.
Don't fill the bottle too full because it will still be fermented. After a week, slowly unscrew the cap to exhaust the fermenting gas. Some liquid may overflow. It doesn't matter, just close the cap and it will be done in another week. In addition, put the bottle in the right place. Sometimes the seal is too good, and the fermentation is too fast, which will top up the lid, overflow, and soil the ground.
