I didn’t like eating bitter gourd very much before, thinking that life is so bitter, why should I eat bitter gourd. Later, I learned that eating bitter gourd can remember bitterness and sweetness, and bitter gourd can be used to defeat fire! Sprite + bitter gourd absolutely subverts taste imagination. It is sweet, cold, crisp, and not bitter. It has a completely fairy taste~"

Ingredients

Iced Sprite Bitter Gourd

1. Wash the bitter gourd and cut it in half, and remove the white flesh;

2. Cut into thin slices

3. Pour in an appropriate amount of water from the pot, add a few drops of thin oil, add a little salt and bring to a boil;

4. Add sliced bitter gourd slices and blanch until it turns green;

5. Remove and place in ice water and chill for 5 minutes;

6. Remove and drain the water to plate;

7. Squeeze an appropriate amount of lemon juice, sprinkle osmanthus honey evenly, add red dates;

8. Pour in the sprite that has not been bitter gourd, put lemon slices on it, cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for about 2 hours;

Tips:

1. The cleaner the white flesh is, the less bitter it is;
2. The blanching time should not be too long, the color will turn yellow if it is too long, not emerald green enough;
3. If you don't want too much ice, you can also ice the sprite and pour it in for consumption;
4. Red dates are just for decoration and can be left alone, or they can be replaced with Chinese wolfberry and so on.
