Jade Spring Cake

Prepare the ingredients used.

Blanch the flour with boiling water and add spinach juice to knead the dough into a smooth dough. Let it rest for 15 minutes.

Roll the dough into long strips and cut into uniform size dough.

Flatten the two face powders with the palm of your hand and apply the sesame oil evenly on one of the face powders.

Do not press on each other with your hands.

Use a rolling pin to roll into a round pancake. Do not roll the edge of the pancake repeatedly.

Spread a little vegetable oil on the pan over low heat.

Put the rolled spring cakes into the pot.

After 1 minute into the pot and hearing a sizzling sound, turn the cake over.

When the center of the spring cake bulges slightly, remove the spring cake.

Tear the two spring cakes from the middle while it is hot.

Tips:
1. This method can be baked in a pan or steamed in a steamer, depending on personal preference.
2. Due to the different water absorption of flour, it is recommended that you do not add boiling water all at once, but add a little bit to see the state of the flour.
3. Flour will be very sticky after adding boiling water. It is recommended to let it stand for 15 minutes, add thin surface and knead the dough smoothly.
