Kumquat Syrup
1.
After washing the kumquat, soak it in salt water for a while to remove the astringency.
2.
Cut the kumquat, don't cut it, I cut it twice, you should see it on the picture.
3.
Use a toothpick to pick out the kumquat seeds. This is a bit troublesome. I hate picking seeds the most, haha.
4.
Bring the water to a boil first, then put the rock sugar in and continue to cook until the rock sugar melts.
5.
Pour in the cute little kumquats. After the high heat is boiled, turn to a low heat and boil slowly. When the water in the pot thickens, you can turn off the heat. You can also add some jujube in.
6.
Be careful not to boil the kumquat, or it will be unsightly, ha ha!
