Light Medicated Nourishing Oxtail Soup
1.
Oxtail is my favorite ingredient, and the braised soup is excellent. For the soup, I usually choose the thinner front part, and for the braised soup, I can choose the thicker part of the back part. After washing, the first step is to soak for a period of time, which can remove blood and water, and also has a certain deodorizing effect.
2.
While soaking the oxtail, prepare the auxiliary materials: this season is not suitable for excessive nourishment, so I only put a red date, a dried longan, two or three slices of American ginseng and a small handful of wolfberry, plus ginger and bay leaves Etc., it can be made into medicated diet packs, or directly into the pot
3.
You can prepare one or two ingredients that are suitable for boiling soup, such as winter melon and taro. Today I chose carrots and potatoes. My experience is that it tastes better if cut into irregular pieces
4.
Put enough water in the casserole, put in the soaked oxtail, after the high fire boil, remove the foam, put in the medicated food, turn the heat to a low heat and cover for about 1.5 hours, try not to open the cover in the middle. When the time is up, put the carrots and potatoes into the soup, and then add the appropriate amount of salt in portions (the soup should be lighter, so add salt while tasting), cover and continue to cook for about 20 minutes, all the ingredients become soft and tasty and the soup is present Make a tempting toffee color, turn off the heat
5.
Add a little chopped green onion to enhance the flavor, OK~ out of the pot...
Tips:
Female friends can also add a small amount of donkey-hide gelatin to the same pot; be sure to soak the oxtail for more than half an hour, otherwise the soup will repeatedly produce blood foam and the taste will be more fishy
