Marshmallow Version Walnut Sesame Candy
1.
Roast the peanuts and remove the red coat. The walnuts are roasted, weighed separately, and mixed for later use (the ratio of peanuts and walnuts is adjusted according to your own taste, and the total is between 250-300 grams).
2.
Weigh 300 grams of marshmallows for use
3.
Take 50 grams of lard and melt it in a pot over low heat. I ran out of butter at home, otherwise butter can be used. Because black sesame and lard taste more fragrant, so I chose lard instead of other fats.
4.
Weigh 180 grams of sesame powder and set aside
5.
Pour the marshmallows into the melted lard and slowly simmer the marshmallows over a low heat throughout the process
6.
After the marshmallow becomes a soft liquid, pour in the black sesame powder and quickly stir evenly
7.
Pour the walnuts and peanuts into the black sesame sugar liquid, and stir evenly. Be sure to complete the mixing before the sugar liquid becomes cold and hardened.
8.
Pour the stirred mixture into the oil-papered mold, then cover it with oil-paper, and press and shape it with a rectangular lunch box (this step requires a quick operation, so there is no photo taken)
9.
After cooling, use a knife to cut into small pieces
