Since making my own nougat, I never buy it from outside anymore. I just want to taste whatever flavor I want. This time I was lazy and made some marshmallow version, which is much easier than making sugar by myself~

Ingredients

Matcha Nougat

1. Peanuts are roasted in advance, peeled and set aside, and other ingredients are ready to be weighed

2. Cut the butter into small pieces and melt in a non-stick pan

3. Pour the marshmallows and stir until melted

4. Add milk powder and matcha powder and mix well

5. Add peanuts and mix well

6. Let it cool for a while, put it on a non-stick mat, knead it with your hands for a while, let the marshmallow fully wrap the peanuts, and roll it flat with a rolling pin

7. Cut into small pieces and wrap them in sugar paper

Tips:

Be sure to use a non-stick pan, otherwise the marshmallows will stick to the pan~
Heat on a low heat, otherwise the marshmallows will be easy to mash~
The peanuts will not break easily when you knead it with your hands for a while~
