Meow Meow Buns with Sesame Filling
1.
Separate warm water and yeast 10 minutes in advance.
2.
Mix flour and milk powder and knead with yeast water to form a smooth dough.
3.
Cover the kneaded dough tightly and let it rest for 15 minutes.
4.
Prepare three to four hundred grams of sesame or red bean paste.
5.
Take out the awake dough, knead it to flatten it, and cut it into equal portions.
6.
Take a potion, roll it out into a round piece, and pack in a proper amount of sesame filling.
7.
Wrap it up with your hands, squeeze the mouth tightly and round it.
8.
Take another dose, roll it into a thin sheet, and press out the wafer with a circular mold.
9.
Then divide the wafer into four as shown in the figure.
10.
Then squeeze each small piece of dough diagonally as shown in the picture to make the kitten’s ears.
11.
Then stick the pinched ears symmetrically on both ends of the bun.
12.
Place all the shaped raw buns in a steamer, cover tightly and naturally ferment until the dough is double the original size.
13.
Put an appropriate amount of water in the pot to boil, put in the second-fat raw buns, cover the pot tightly, and steam over high heat for 20 minutes to turn off the heat. (Turn off the heat and simmer for 3 minutes before opening the lid)
14.
The finished product is out of the pot.
15.
After the buns have cooled down, use a little chocolate to melt them in water, and draw the outline of the kitten. (If you don’t have chocolate, you can also mix a spoonful of cocoa powder with a little water to make a paste, and then use a toothpick to draw)
