Mung Bean and Barley Oatmeal

Prepare the ingredients.

Mix the three ingredients of barley, mung bean, and lotus seeds, wash and soak in water for more than 1 hour;

Put the soaked ingredients into the pot together, add appropriate amount of water, boil on high heat, turn to low heat and cook until the barley is soft and rotten. (It’s almost an hour)

Add corn flakes and oatmeal, continue to simmer for 20 minutes and turn off the heat.

Like sweet ones, add right amount of rock sugar together.

Simple and convenient health porridge is ready.
Tips:
For ingredients that are not easy to boil, soak them in advance to shorten the cooking time. It is best to add enough water to cook porridge at one time and master the ratio of water to ingredients. As long as it is mainly barley and mung beans, the other components are arbitrary. Do not add water midway, otherwise the viscosity and rich flavor will be greatly reduced.
For breakfast, you can throw it into the rice cooker the night before and add water to cook at an appointment time, so that you only need to do step 4.5 when you wake up in the morning.
