Oil Cake
1.
Ingredients: glutinous rice noodles, warm water, red dates, red bean paste. (Appropriate amount)
2.
Pour the warm water into the glutinous rice noodles and stir it with both hands. We call it "not rotten," which means to stir it into a floc.
3.
Use your hands to turn the flocculent glutinous rice bread into a nest shape, and steam it in a steamer for 15-20 minutes.
4.
After being steamed, put it in a basin, and massage the steamed noodles with cold water, that is, beating, so that the noodles will become vigorous. Finally, pour sesame oil on the surface so that the surface will not stick to your hands and the second surface will not be easy to cool. (At that time, both hands were occupied, and my daughter helped to take it).
5.
Boil the red dates in boiling water for more than 1 hour, remove them, mash the red dates with one end of a rolling pin, and leave out the jujube cores. Mix the red bean paste and the white sugar together to complete the filling of the oil cake. (Although it looks ugly, it tastes good)
6.
Make the noodles into small ingredients, unfold them, put the jujube paste filling in, squeeze it into a circle, and pat it flat with the palm of your hand. The oil cake is complete.
7.
After the sesame oil is boiled, put in the oil cake and fry until golden brown and remove.
8.
In the morning, fried oil cakes for my daughter, making a bowl of longevity noodles with mutton, beautiful! (Because the whole production process was in the evening and in the morning when it was dark, the photos were not very good, but the daughter participated in the whole process, which is better than anything)! Haha
Tips:
1. The steaming time should not be too long, preferably 15-20 minutes.
2. Before steaming the noodles, make the jujube paste filling and put it there for later use.
3. If your hands are a little sticky when kneading the cake, put some white flour on your hands to solve the problem of sticky hands.
4. If you can't eat it, put it in the refrigerator. If you take it out of the refrigerator, put the cake when the oil is cold during frying, so that it will taste delicious.
These are the "true biography" of the predecessors.
