Orange Red Cake

Weigh the glutinous rice flour into a basin

Take a small bowl and put in sugar, orange jam, and beetroot powder. The orange jam is made by myself and has orange peel particles.

Add an appropriate amount of boiling water and stir evenly into red sugar water

Pour the red sugar water into the glutinous rice flour and mix thoroughly. I probably added 145 grams of red sugar water. The amount of water is for reference only

Take another high-temperature bowl and brush some oil

Pour the pink glutinous rice flour paste into an oiled bowl, cover it and put it in the microwave on high heat for 2 minutes

Take out and stir evenly with chopsticks

Put it in the microwave oven again for 1-2 minutes and then take it out and stir evenly. Be careful of hot hands during the whole process

After cooling down a bit, apply oil on your hands to rub the dough into a strip

Cut into small pieces

Put cooked glutinous rice flour in another bowl. You can use it to bake it in the oven, steam it, or cook it in the microwave. 50 grams actually doesn’t use much

Put a little bit less and don’t stick to each other, shake the bowl to evenly coat with powder before adding, and coat layer by layer.

Finally, use a sieve to sift out the excess powder
