Original Sawdust Cup
1.
The original sawdust cup must use Mary biscuits, which are sold in many supermarkets or imported food areas; if you can’t buy them, you can also use other crisp biscuits instead, but they are not authentic.
2.
Take 70 grams of Mary biscuits for use
3.
Use a food processor to grind the biscuits into powder, the finer the better
4.
Put the whipped cream in an egg-beater and beat until it can barely flow
5.
At this time, add the condensed milk, continue to send until there are clear lines and will not disappear, then pour the whipped cream into the piping bag for later use
6.
Take an appropriate amount of biscuit crumbs, pour into the bottom of the cup, and lightly compact
7.
Squeeze whipped cream of about the same thickness on the compacted biscuit crumbs
8.
Continue to spread a layer of biscuit crumbs on the whipped cream, lightly compact, and then squeeze a layer of whipped cream, repeat this step until the cup is filled
9.
On the last layer of whipped cream, first spread a thin layer of biscuit crumbs to cover most of the cream, and then use a flour sieve to evenly sieve the biscuit crumbs to achieve a good-looking effect
10.
Then put the sawdust cup in the refrigerator for more than 4 hours, take out the refrigerated sawdust cup and eat it with a small spoon
Tips:
1. It is best to use Mary biscuits;
2. Don't use too much force when pressing each layer of biscuit crumbs, otherwise the whipped cream will be pressed to the upper layer, which will not look good;
3. Sawdust cup is simple, but it is not easy to achieve a clear and uniform level. Practice makes perfect, and it will be beautiful if you make it a few times;
4. After you have mastered this method, you can try other flavor cups. For example, by adding strawberry jam (powder) or matcha powder to whipped cream, you can make a cup of sawdust with different flavors. The food is to try;
5. The ratio of biscuits to whipped cream is generally 1:2. You can also adjust the formula and sweetness according to your own taste. It is best not to use sugar instead of condensed milk, the taste will be slightly less fragrant;
6. The container of the wood bran cup can be a glass pudding bottle, a plastic tiramisu cup, or simply a wide-mouth glass. You don’t need to be so particular about making them at home. I made these two cups just to take pictures to look good.
