This recipe, glutinous rice and jujube, is also known as Laughing. The method is simple but likable, even if it is a novice in the kitchen, it is still successful. Osmanthus Glutinous Rice Date

1. Prepare the required ingredients: glutinous rice flour, red dates, osmanthus sauce, white sugar

2. Wash and soak the red dates first

3. Cut the jujube in half, don't cut it

4. Take out the date nucleus

5. Put sugar in glutinous rice flour

6. Knead the dough with warm water to form a moderately hard dough

7. Glutinous rice kneaded into thin strips

8. Cut into sections (similar in length to jujube)

9. Put the glutinous rice into the pitted jujube

10. Do it in order

11. Put the prepared glutinous rice dates in a steamer and steam for 10 minutes

12. Put water in the pot, pour osmanthus sauce

13. Bring to a boil, put in the steamed glutinous rice dates, the flavor will be served (or it can be boiled and poured on the glutinous rice dates)

Tips:

1. If you don’t like white sugar, you can replace it with rock sugar, which must be melted in advance
2. If there is no sweet-scented osmanthus sauce, you can make honey juice, and it is also good to top with some white sesame
3. There are also boiled methods for making glutinous rice and dates. This is optional (I personally think that steaming can make the glutinous rice and red dates better bond).
