The dough that has been fermented for more than 12 months is extraordinarily soft and has the sweetness of sweet potatoes. The crispness of the skin will become more pleasing when it is baked on a low fire.

Ingredients

Pan Fried Fritters Baby Food Supplement Recipe

1. · Reference Moon Age·
Babies who are over 12 months old and are not allergic to ingredients· Food preparation·
Ordinary flour 120g/ Sweet potato 90g/ Egg yolk 1 Sugar 10g/ Corn oil 10g/ Yeast 2g

2. Peel the sweet potatoes, cut into small cubes, and steam them in a steamer for about 15 minutes. You can also replace sweet potatoes with the same amount of ingredients such as yam, potatoes, and purple sweet potatoes.

3. When the sweet potatoes are ripe, take them out and pound them into a fine mash.

*If you are not sure whether it is ripe, let's pierce the chopsticks first. When it is easily pierced, you can take it out.

4. In the mashed sweet potato, add sugar, yeast, and egg yolk. The number of grams of sugar does not need to be fixed, it can be increased or decreased according to the taste of natural ingredients accepted by the baby.

5. Pour in ordinary household flour and stir the ingredients into a dough shape.

6. Then pour in 10 grams of corn oil and use the palm of your hand to knead the dough into a smooth dough.

7. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and ferment to double its original size in a warm place.

*Because the indoor temperature is lower now, I suggest that you can choose 2 fast fermentation methods:
1. Oven fermentation: Put the dough in the oven, select the fermentation mode (down tube 40 degrees) to start the oven, it takes about 1 hour.
2. Fermentation in a steamer: add half a pot of hot water of about 40 degrees to the pot (it feels warm to the touch, not hot), put the dough on the basket, cover the pot and ferment for 1 hour.

8. After fermentation is complete, remove the plastic wrap and roll the dough into a rectangular pie. Sisters can sprinkle some dry flour on the kneading mat in advance to prevent sticking.

9. Then cut the square noodles into a number of small strips, and each 2 noodles are superimposed on top of each other.

10. Separate it from the middle with a knife and cut into multiple small sections suitable for the baby's grasp.

11. Use chopsticks to press in the middle of each small noodle section to make dough sticks.

12. Brush oil in the pot, put the prepared small fried dough sticks into the pot, cover the pot, and let it rise again for 15 minutes.

*Now is the time when the weather is relatively cold. If the temperature is very low, wake up for a while to ensure softness.

13. Turn on medium heat and fry until the bottom of the small fried dough sticks turns yellowish, then add appropriate amount of hot water to the pot.

*Steamer version: If the baby likes to eat pure and soft taste, I suggest you can also use the steamer to make it. Steam it for 15-20 minutes, and it will be cooked.

14. Cover the pot and continue to simmer for about 5 minutes, until the dough sticks are cooked and taken out.

15. Serve as a staple food with soup or dishes.

The texture is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It is matched with a cute look than you tiao. My son takes a bite at a time. He loves it so much that he can’t stop it!
