Passion Fruit Jam-the Perfect Jam with The Aroma of Passion Fruit
1.
The ingredients are shown in the picture;
2.
After buying the passion fruit, put it in a ventilated place for a few days. When the peel becomes crumpled, it tastes best;
3.
Wash the passion fruit, cut in half, and scoop out the pulp with a small spoon;
4.
I dug out all the pulp one by one, I weighed about 500g;
5.
Put the pulp and rock sugar in a casserole;
6.
After the high fire is boiled, change to a low fire and simmer slowly;
7.
After simmering for about an hour, the flesh will darken and become sticky;
8.
Remove the casserole from the heat, and place the jam in a jam jar after it is allowed to cool. The jam jar needs to be disinfected with boiling water in advance, or sterilized with a microwave oven; turning the jam jar upside down can remove the air in the jam, which is conducive to preservation;
9.
The finished product tastes great. It is good to add warm water to make juice or spread bread. It is also great to dig a spoonful to eat~
Tips:
1. Passion fruit tastes sour. The amount of rock sugar is one-third to one-half of the pulp. You can taste it while boiling. I add sugar according to personal taste. I add about 500g of the pulp to 220g of rock sugar in total. Moderately sweet and sour;
2. It is best to use a casserole for boiling jam;
3. The homemade pulp is naturally preservative-free and can be stored in the refrigerator for about two weeks~
