Peanut Candy

Peanuts are roasted in an electric baking pan.

White sesame seeds are roasted in a pan.

Peel the cooked peanuts and mix with the cooked sesame seeds. Weigh the sugar and oil.

Prepare a baking tray and put food wrap on it for later use.

Pour 20 grams of oil into the milk pan, add sugar, and melt over low heat.

Make the melted sugar turn brownish red.

Add maltose.

Simmer the syrup over low heat.

Boil the syrup until 140-142°. This is very important.

If you don’t have a thermometer, you can take a bowl of cold water, often dip your chopsticks in the syrup, and then put it in cold water.

After the syrup is boiled, pour the mixed peanuts and sesame into the boiled sugar and mix quickly. Turn off the fire.

Put it in the baking tray and shape it.

Let it cool slightly and cut into pieces. The size of the block is up to you.
