1. Prepare the ingredients, the scallion pancakes are salty, so I paired the glutinous rice balls with two salty fillings, crab yolk and egg yolk quicksand.

2. Take out the glutinous rice balls in advance and thaw for 3 to 5 minutes, no need to thaw completely

3. Scallion pancakes can be defrosted for 3~5 minutes

4. After thawing the scallion pancakes, cut the scallion pancakes crosswise and cut into 4 small pieces

5. Put on gloves once, take a glutinous rice ball and place it on a slice of scallion pancake

6. Wrap the glutinous rice balls with scallion pancakes, squeeze them tightly downwards, and then arrange them into a smooth ball

7. After everything is wrapped, put it in the basket of the air fryer

8. Separate the eggs, take only the yolk part

9. Dip an appropriate amount of egg yolk with a small brush and brush on the glutinous rice balls

10. Sprinkle white sesame and black sesame separately; I used black and white sesame to distinguish the glutinous rice balls with two different fillings

11. Put the frying basket into the air fryer, adjust the temperature to 180 degrees, and adjust the time to about 15 minutes

12. Pay attention to observation in the last 2 minutes, the surface is golden, oooo, there is one exposed

Tips:

1. Prepare the scallion pancakes and your favorite glutinous rice balls, and then take them out of the refrigerator in advance to thaw, and the time is about 3 to 5 minutes. Scallion pancakes or hand-held pancakes, stupidly unclear? I have made two kinds of pancakes. The hand-held pancakes are slightly softer after being baked; the scallion pancakes are slightly thicker and more crispy after being baked; and there is more scallion fragrance, which makes them less greasy.
2. The glutinous rice balls and scallion pancakes do not need to be fully thawed, just thawing about 3~5 minutes in advance, especially the scallion pancakes are easy to soften, thawing fast, and too soft is not easy to operate.
3. There is no air fryer, you can also use the oven to bake it. The temperature and time are similar to those of an air fryer. How convenient is it for you? I have tried both methods, and the taste is delicious.
