Pumpkin Buns

Steam the pumpkin and use a blender to make a puree

Mix flour and yeast powder, add pumpkin puree, knead while adding to make a smooth dough

Cover with a lid or plastic wrap, and leave in a warm place to ferment to double the size

Vent the fermented dough and knead it until the surface is smooth

Roll the dough into long strips

Cut into equal-sized noodles

Put it in a steamer covered with wet cloth, with a space in between, because it will become bigger when steaming

Second proofing to double size

Bring water to a boil on high heat, steam on medium heat for about 15 minutes, turn off the heat, simmer for 3-5 minutes, then remove the lid
Tips:
The water content of pumpkin and the water absorption of flour are different. Therefore, the amount of pumpkin needs to be increased or decreased according to the hardness of the dough.
