The attractive mini pumpkin rice is soft, waxy and sweet. The coarse grains are easy to process and taste a little rough to eat. However, because of this, the coarse grains contain many nutrients that are not contained in the fine grains. Regular eating of whole grains can promote gastrointestinal motility, facilitate the absorption of nutrients, increase appetite, help digestion, and facilitate defecation.

Ingredients

Pumpkin Multigrain Rice

1. Wash and soak glutinous rice, millet, mung bean, and red bean for 4 hours

2. Soaked miscellaneous grains are steamed with water that has just barely covered the noodles

3. Cut a quarter of the small pumpkin with a horizontal knife, take out the sac inside and modify the periphery of the melon seeds, and save the trimmed pumpkin pieces and put them in the pumpkin to steam together.

4. Add the washed raisins and honey to the steamed cereals and mix well

5. Scoop all the miscellaneous grains into the pumpkin

6. Steam on the pot for 40 minutes. It is best to cover the pumpkin rice with a lid when steaming, otherwise the steam in the steamer will enter the rice, and the bottom of the rice will be wet and not dry enough.

Tips:

When steaming, cover with a lid or plastic wrap to prevent excess water from entering the rice.
