Purple Rice Taro Congee

All the ingredients are prepared as follows (1500ml of water is almost 3 large bowls of stainless steel bowl next to it).

Wash the purple rice taro and soak the purple rice for 1-2 hours.

Add water and purple rice to the pot and bring to a boil. Turn to low heat and continue to simmer for 45 minutes (the steamer on the pot puts the washed raw taro to steam for 25 minutes).

Take out the taro and cut into small pieces.

Put the taro chunks in a boiling pot and boil on high heat and continue to cook for 10 minutes. Add sugar and cook for another 5 minutes or just turn off the heat.
