Purple Sweet Potato and Glutinous Rice

Ingredients: 150 grams of glutinous rice flour, 30 grams of orange powder, 20 grams of minced coconut, 80 grams of cooked bean paste, sugar, milk (water), appropriate amount (I don’t use sugar if the bean paste is sweet)

Material: 150 grams of purple sweet potato.

Mix the glutinous rice flour and the orange flour while pouring in boiling water, while stirring with chopsticks to form a snowflake shape, stop adding water.

The purple sweet potato is steamed, then peeled and ground into a puree while it is hot (I have tried several times, but the peeled and steamed purple sweet potato tastes not as sweet as the one with the skin).

The simmered glutinous rice flour paste is added to the hot purple potato paste, and it is crushed with a garlic mortar and fully bonded together.

Harmonize into smooth purple sweet potato glutinous rice noodles.

The purple sweet potato dough is made into small ingredients of the same size, and the red bean paste is made into a ball smaller than the purple sweet potato ball.

The purple sweet potato balls are pressed into round cakes and wrapped with red bean paste.

The mouth is rolled into a smooth ball, and the glutinous rice embryo is ready.

Spread a thin layer of oil on the corn husks (or directly on the steamer), and put the glutinous rice to cover the embryo.

Boil the pot and steam for 5 minutes, stop the fire, cover for 2 minutes, and take out the pot (the diameter I made is about 2 cm, one bite at a time, and the steaming time is adjusted according to the size of my cooking).

The steamed glutinous rice is hot and rolled with a layer of coconut paste, and the glutinous rice is ready.
