Red Bean and Coix Seed Water

The ratio of red beans and coix seed is 1:1.

Wash and soak overnight. Add red beans, coix seed and appropriate amount of water to a boiling pot, bring to a boil on high heat, turn to low heat and cook slowly. Red beans and coix seed should be cooked and rotten.

After cooking, you can add an appropriate amount of rock sugar to taste. Both hot and cold.
Tips:
When I'm busy, I often use an electric pressure cooker to cook it more quickly and conveniently, but I still cook it in an ordinary skillet slowly when I have time. I always feel that the added time and patience make the food warmer and more nourishing.
