Red Bean Yam Sesame Cake
1.
Wash the yam, cut it into two sections, and steam for 15-20 minutes on the pot.
2.
Gently scrape off the steamed yam, wash it with warm water, and place it in a large basin.
3.
While it is hot, use a wooden spoon to crush the yam into mud.
4.
Pour the glutinous rice flour and white sugar into a basin and knead the yam to form a dough. If you think the dough is dry, you can add some water.
5.
Take a squeezer and knead it into a circle and press it into a pie, put the red bean paste in, close the mouth, and press it into a small pie.
6.
Add oil to the pan to heat up, put the cakes one by one in the oil and fry them over a medium-low heat. Fry it until golden brown on both sides.
7.
That’s it. Just let it cool a little and eat it without burning your mouth.
Tips:
1. You can steam the yam first and then peel it, because the raw yam is easily oxidized after peeling, the surface will become dark and dirty, and the dough or cake made will not look good.
2. The cooked yam is hot to your hands. If you are afraid of it, wear anti-scalding gloves. Don't burn your hands.
3. When frying the bean paste and yam sesame cake, the fire should not be too high, and you should turn over to see the situation of the fried side, especially if you use the induction cooker, pay special attention to the cake in the middle, otherwise it will be easy to burn.
