Red Date Crisp

Peel the walnuts and put them in the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes.

The toasted walnut kernels are thinly coated and crushed in a plastic bag to get larger pieces.

The red dates are pitted and chopped into small pieces.

Put brown sugar, flour, corn oil, baking soda, baking powder, eggs, chopped walnuts, chopped red dates in a basin and mix well.
