Red Date Paste

Wash the red dates, put them in a pot, boil over high heat, stir and cook for 10 minutes, turn off the heat and soak for one night, so that the red dates can absorb the water.

Peel the red dates, remove the pit, put it in a non-stick pot and boil on high heat. Change to medium heat. Add brown sugar and continue cooking.

Cook until it is sticky, turn off the heat and let cool. You can keep it in the refrigerator for 2 weeks if you can’t finish it.
Tips:
This red date paste is delicious to eat like this, and it can also be used as a baking supplement. This is thinner than the date paste and is not suitable for making dessert fillings. The soaked dates are easy to peel, if not peeled, they need to be sieved. Jujube peel will affect the taste.
