Rose Apple Pie

Cut the apple in half and core.

Cut thin slices.

Put in a small pot, pour about 2 cups (500ml) of water, add 2 teaspoons of sugar and boil.

Cook until the apple slices are soft.

Place the apple slices on the grill to drain the water.

Thaw the puff pastry and roll it out into a rectangular shape of about 30×40cm

Cut into strips about 5cm wide.

Take a long strip and spread the jam.

Arrange the apple slices. The side of the apple peel should highlight the meringue.

The exposed half of the meringue is folded over the apple slices.

When rolled up, it forms a rose shape.

Put it in a muffin cup. The cup should be greased to prevent staining or put on a paper holder.

Sprinkle a little sugar on the surface, put it in the preheated oven, bake the middle and lower layer at 400F/200C for 15 minutes, and turn to 350F/180C for 20 minutes.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar on top of the oven.

It's better to eat freshly baked.
