The pumpkin is cleaned and steamed in a pot.

Peel the steamed pumpkin and stir it into puree with chopsticks.

Add glutinous rice flour and stir a few times. (Pumpkin puree is very sweet and no sugar is added. The final product needs to be sprinkled with powdered sugar, so no sugar is ok.)

And into a smooth dough.

Take half of the dough and put it on the pot and steam it in water. (The glutinous rice noodles will be spread out and steamed, which is better and convenient for kneading.)

Mix it with the rest of the dough.

At first, there will be particles that are not good for mixing, but after a while, it will be smooth, but a little oil can be used to prevent sticking.

Rub the dough into thin strips and cut into small pieces.

Knead one end into a pointed shape and arrange it into a corn shape.

Squeeze out a series of tooth marks with clean teeth. (I used a small comb to cut off the wide ends)

Do it in turn.

Spread a little oil on the plate, put small corn on it, put it in the pan, and steam for a minute or two. (The corn has a small shape and is easy to cook. Don't steam it for too long, it's easy to deform.)

After steaming it and letting it cool, put it on a plate in a circular motion around the bamboo skewers.
