Bacon and winter melon soup is a traditional home-cooked dish here. The bacon is marinated during the twelfth lunar month last year and kept in the refrigerator to make winter melon soup in the summer without too much bacon. Sometimes it is just sliced into thin slices and added to suspend its salty flavor. It is just right to drink in summer. It is full of salty flavor and is very appetizing.

1. Peel the winter melon, slice and wash, chop the salty ribs into pieces, and wash with warm water

Tips:

1. The ribs I marinated are not salty ones. If they are salty, we need to soak some of the saltiness in clear water before cooking, so as not to be too salty.

2. After adding the winter melon, don't press it. The winter melon is easy to ripen, and it will affect the taste.
