Secret Homemade Northeast Stew
1.
Wash and cut two eggplants
2.
Wash potatoes, peel and cut into pieces
3.
One canned braised pork
4.
2 sharp peppers cut into pepper rings
5.
Wash tomatoes, remove stalks and cut into pieces
6.
Bring the water to a boil, because you need to stew potatoes and eggplant first, so you need more water
7.
After the water is boiled, put the potato and eggplant chunks and braised pork. The canned braised pork has more oil. You can skim off some of it before putting it in the pot. But because the eggplant eats oil, you still need to leave more oil.
8.
Stew until the eggplant and potatoes are cooked through
9.
Add tomato cubes and chili rings, because the canned braised pork is already well-tuned, so just add a little salt and you don’t need to add any other seasonings. Because the eggplants and potatoes were all cooked before, so after adding tomatoes and peppers, just simmer a little to get out of the pot.
Tips:
1. Canned braised pork can be replaced with homemade braised pork, you don't need to put more, just one bowl. If you don't want to put it, you can cut some lean meat pieces and add some oil to stew together.
2. As long as the seasoning is salted, it is OK, and nothing else is necessary. If you put lean meat, you must season it normally, this must not be forgotten.
