I used two different recipes and methods to make Ejiao, and I came to the conclusion that there is a lot of ingredients and the taste of Ejiao is light, so that even people who don’t like Ejiao will fall in love with it. This recipe does not have that with longan added. The meat is delicious.

Ingredients

Sesame Walnut Ejiao Paste

1. Soak: Crush the donkey-hide gelatin and put it into a large bowl, soak it in half a catty of rice wine for 3 days, until softened.

2. Toasted walnuts: Put the walnuts in the oven

3. Bake at 220 degrees for about 2-3 minutes

4. Fry, put donkey-hide gelatin in the pot

5. Stir while heating until the donkey-hide gelatin is completely melted (it takes about 30 minutes)

6. Then add rock sugar

7. Heat and stir again (it takes about 50 minutes), stir until the rock sugar is completely melted in the donkey-hide gelatin liquid

8. Then add the roasted walnuts

9. Add roasted black sesame seeds

10. Mix evenly while heating (it takes about 20 minutes)

11. Then apply salad oil in the crisper

12. Pour the donkey-hide gelatin paste and flatten it, put it in the refrigerator after cooling, and slice it.

Tips:

The method of applying salad oil in the fresh-keeping box is more convenient for slicing, but it is easy to stick to the fingers when eating. The rock candy must be broken, so as to save the time of cooking. I put too large pieces and cooked for a long time. I mixed it. The hands are also sore. Generally, 250 grams of Ejiao per person in winter is enough
