Shrimp and Water Melon Cup
1.
Prepare the main ingredients, 8 prawns, and a slender water melon. (I can’t buy a long and thin one today, so I bought 3 of these water melons)
2.
Peel and wash the water melon, cut into 8 pieces with small tails, dig a hole with a knife, without digging through.
3.
Remove the head and shell of the prawns, save the shell of the tail of the shrimp, cut a hole in the middle of the back, and remove the intestines.
4.
Insert the shrimp tail toward the middle mouth, put the water melon, the shrimp tail upwards.
5.
Add 1 tablespoon of oil, appropriate amount of salt, chopped red pepper, 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, half a tablespoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of steamed fish drum oil, and mix it into a fragrant sauce.
6.
Put the water melon and fragrant juice on the plate. The juice and melon are best kept separately.
7.
Put water in the pot and bring to a boil, add water melon and juice, steam over high heat for 8 minutes to finish.
8.
The finished product is out of the pot, and the juice is poured on top of the water melon to complete.
9.
Finished product. (Small reminder: the water melon should not be steamed for too long, which will affect the tenderness and taste of the shrimp, and the water melon will not stand after being steamed for too long)
