Shrimp and Winter Melon Fish Ball Soup

1. Soak the dried prawns in cold water for 20 minutes in advance;

2. Heat up a pan, put a proper amount of oil, add green onion and ginger until fragrant;

3. Add the soaked prawns and stir fry;

4. Pour the water that has been soaked in prawns to make a broth;

5. Add winter melon balls and fish balls to cook;

6. Add salt and pepper to taste;

7. Cook for five minutes until the fish balls swell and the winter melon balls are completely transparent;

8. Put it into a bowl and sprinkle some chopped green onions.

Tips:

1. Dried prawns need to be soaked in advance. Do not spill the water that has been soaked in the prawns, save them to make stock;
2. Saute the shallots, ginger, garlic, and stir-fry the prawns. This will make the prawns richer in flavor. Add the water soaked in the prawns to make a stock (better if you have stock at home)
3. Pour the winter melon and fish balls into it and cook, add salt and pepper to taste, and cook for about three to five minutes until the transparent winter gourd fish balls expand.
