Shrimp Balls with Yam

The shrimp is headed, shelled, and the last section of the shrimp shell is retained. Cut the shrimp from the back to two-thirds of the depth, and remove the shrimp thread. Peel the iron yam and cut into pieces with a hob.

Put the fresh shrimps in a large bowl, add olive oil, ginger slices, and cooking wine and marinate for 5 minutes.

Bring water to a boil in the soup pot, add the yam to boil, and drain the water for later use.

Melt 2 pieces of butter in a hot pan, add garlic slices and fry until slightly brown.

Add the prawns and yam and fry until the prawns are cooked through. Sprinkle with crushed black pepper, oil, salt and mix well.
