This skin jelly was made every Chinese New Year when I was a child. It is a must-make at home. It is a translucent dish made with only pig skin and garlic soy sauce. The unique Northeast cuisine may be the favorite food on the tip of every Northeastern’s tongue. Go home in winter. It’s been a long time since I eat it once. Now there are some places here that can be eaten, but the taste is not to say. It’s also expensive. A small dish is only 10 yuan. As a foodie who loves to cook, how can I not try to make it myself? I can’t help but ask my family’s methods and tried it. Although it tastes a bit worse than at home, it also gave me a big blessing in a foreign land.”

Ingredients

Skin Jelly

1. About 300g of pig skin, wash the water and boil it, put it in a pot and cook for about 10 minutes to remove the remaining pig hair on the shaved pig skin

2. All the pigskins are cut into thin strips and rubbed repeatedly in cold water to wash the remaining lard on the pigskin. There is no obvious oil on the surface. Then add twice the water of the pigskin and boil over high heat

Tips:

1. Pig skin can be bought at the supermarket or vegetable farm butcher stall
2. If there is too much pig hair, you can pour a little high wine into the bottom of the plate and burn it with a lighter to remove the pig hair.
