Spontaneously Raising Flower Bun
1.
Prepare the main ingredients. Self-rising flour and plant pigments.
2.
Mix the noodles with warm water, and the water temperature is about 30 degrees. Mix and dissolve the barley seedling powder in advance. Mix it into the sugar-filled flour and mix it until there is no dry powder to knead the dough.
3.
The kneaded dough should be sealed and placed in a warm place for about 20 minutes to ferment. You can smell a bit sour, which is a normal noodle smell.
4.
Put the fermented dough on the chopping board and knead to exhaust. The big noodles should be divided into steamed bun noodles of the same size, and the noodles need to be kneaded!
5.
Divide the noodles into uniform size and prepare to make steamed buns. Knead the dough with your hands, and the pasta will have a chewy texture.
6.
Roll it into a thick dough as shown in the picture, and then cut into equal portions, don't use a knife to cut, or the silicone pad will be finished. You can use silicone knives or those that don't hurt the mat.
7.
This recipe is made in two colors, and there is a piece of white noodles, you can also intersperse it, this time I put less barley flour, and the color is not green anymore. Lined up. You can press it with chopsticks and the pattern will be there.
8.
Organize it like the picture, so it's done, it's easy, just try it if you like it. Compared with ordinary flour, the production time is much shorter, and the process of making flowers is slower. You can put the first prepared one into the steamer to prevent the dough from cracking. Cover the steamer with corn leaves. If you don’t have one, you can use cloth or oil paper. Steam in cold water for 15 minutes.
Tips:
1. The water content of different brands of flour is different. This recipe uses self-raising flour, please refer to the water consumption.
2. When making noodles, try to put as little water as possible. If the noodles are too soft, the steamed buns will collapse and have no shape and taste bad.
