This dish is the most common home-cooked side dish in Shanghai local restaurants~~It has a unique flavor and a long aftertaste. The spicy pepper and the special fragrance of stinky tofu make people can’t put down their chopsticks~ enjoy the spicy taste~

Steamed Edamame with Chopped Pepper and Stinky Tofu

1. Use water to rinse off the stinky tofu

2. It’s best to choose Hunan Chopped Chili, which is more authentic and spicy.

3. Boil the edamame until half cooked, drain and remove

4. Spread the half-cooked edamame evenly on the bottom of the plate

5. Top with stinky tofu

6. Arrange the chopped peppers evenly (can be increased or decreased according to taste)

7. Pour some more chopped pepper sauce

8. Add a small amount of salt because the stinky tofu itself is salty, so you should put less salt, and add a little sugar to improve the umami taste

9. Add some chicken essence

10. Finally, stir in 2 tablespoons of cooking oil and steam on medium heat for 20 minutes.

Tips:

1. Stinky tofu is salty, so you can leave it alone or just put a little salt.

2. Edamame is cooked in advance until semi-familiar, the taste will be better, and it will save cooking time.

3. Add some chopped pepper sauce to enhance the flavor
