Stuffed Bitter Gourd with Red Dates

Wash the bitter gourd, cut off the sharp ends, and cut into three sections with two knives. Use a small spoon to empty the inner flesh of the bitter gourd.

Red dates are pitted.

Put the bitter gourd in boiling water and blanch it for one minute. Drain.

Put the red dates vertically into the bitter gourd section and stuff them tightly.

Slice and drizzle with honey.

The finished product, clears away heat and detoxifies, has a hint of sweetness.
Tips:
Bitter gourd is boiled and washed with cold water to keep the color green. The red dates are vertically stuffed into the bitter gourd section, and they must be stuffed tightly so that the slices will not loosen.
