Sweet Potato Gnocchi

Stir glutinous rice flour with water, stir while pouring water

Stir evenly with chopsticks, remember to add the right amount of water and stir constantly, try to make all the glutinous rice flour mixed with water

When it's thick, you can knead it into a dough directly with your hands. Be careful that the glutinous rice dough that can be kneaded into a dough must be sticky. If the dough is not sticky and a bit dry, there is no water inside and it will easily collapse when you introspect later. Broken and cracked.

Cut sweet potatoes into cubes and steam

Take out the steamed sweet potatoes and crush them into puree with a spoon

When the sweet potatoes are cool, knead them into small balls

Start making glutinous rice balls: Grab a dough of the same size, use your left hand to hold the flour inside the circle, squeeze and fuse it, and then gently press it on the ball with your right hand, and roll the glutinous rice dough together with your hands.

Then flatten the kneaded glutinous rice ball into a cake with the palm of your hand, and place the sweet potato ball on the glutinous rice cake.
Note: When pressing, you must put a little flour underneath whether you are in your hand or on the chopping board. This is to make the glutinous rice cake easy to stick when pressing.

Wrap the sweet potato balls with glutinous rice cakes and form them into a ball.

Roll the wrapped glutinous rice balls in your palms until they are round.

Boil a pot of boiling water

Put the wrapped glutinous rice balls into the boiling water at a time, and they will sink to the bottom when they are just put down.

During about 5 minutes to 10 minutes, the glutinous rice balls will slowly rise from the bottom to the surface, until the glutinous rice balls surfaced is the proof that the glutinous rice balls are cooked.

Prepare a clean bowl, use a spoon to gently remove the glutinous rice balls one by one and put them in the bowl. When the temperature is lower, you can start eating.
