Sweet Snacks ~ Honey Pickled Bayberry
1.
After washing bayberry, soak in light salt water for 10-15 minutes, and dry under water control. It is best to soak in pure water or cool boiled water instead of raw water.
2.
Prepare honey. The white honey at home is hot and it feels a bit melted. I like this better, it can be hung on the bayberry to make the juice better.
3.
Each bayberry should try to wipe off the external water, and then remove the top stalk to better contact with the honey.
4.
In this way, a clean oil-free container, a layer of bayberry and a layer of honey, seal the top with honey, and marinate in the refrigerator.
5.
I marinated this overnight. The honey has melted and blended with the bayberry. For 3-5 days, the bayberry will soften and the juice will be more precipitated. Eat directly sweet and sour. The bayberry honey is flushed with water or soda water, and it tastes great π π
