Salt-fried chicken is one of the most common snacks in Taiwan, but in fact it is a comprehensive name. In addition to the fried chicken bones, the salt-fried chicken stalls usually sell deep-fried sweet and not spicy (including pork blood cake and Fish plate), fried squid feet, French fries, fried string beans, fried taro kuih, etc. Some stalls will also sell fried chicken chops and chicken wings.

Taiwanese Salted Chicken Wing Root

1. Marinate chicken wings roots with ginger, pepper and salt for 1 hour

2. After marinating for an hour, start to coat the powder-the egg liquid-the powder. I use glutinous rice flour + flour, so it will be crispy when fried

3. Fry the roots of chicken wings first, then fry another one after the pan is drained
