Vanilla Ice Cream

Prepare the ice cream maker and freezer. The method of not using the ice cream machine starts from step 3.

Put the ice bucket of the ice cream maker in the freezer for 16 hours.

Mix fresh milk with whipped cream.

Cut the vanilla bean pod with a knife, scrape out the vanilla seeds and put them in the buttermilk.

Put the split vanilla bean pods into the cream milk.

Bring the buttermilk to a boil on a low heat while stirring constantly to prevent the pan from getting stuck.

Prepare the egg yolk and sugar.

Mix the egg yolk and sugar evenly.

Slowly pour the boiled butter milk into the egg yolk paste and mix well.

Cook on low heat until the ice cream paste thickens, while stirring constantly to prevent it from sticking to the pan.

Prepare a basin of ice water.

Dip the thick ice cream paste into ice water and quickly cool it down.

Remove the frozen ice bucket from the refrigerator.

Strain the ice cream paste through a strainer.

Pour the filtered ice cream paste into an ice bucket. If you don't need an ice cream machine, just pour the ice cream paste into the lunch box and cover it, and put it in the refrigerator for about 2-3 hours.

Turn on the power and press the switch, and wait for 30 minutes.

The ice cream is made.

Put the ice cream balls on a plate and enjoy.
