Wang Xingren
1.
Put materials other than red yeast rice and dark cocoa powder into the container and knead until the dough is smooth.
2.
After the dough has been fermented to twice its size, let it exhaust. Take a small amount of dough and add red yeast rice powder and dark black cocoa powder to knead until a smooth dough. (A small amount of dark cocoa powder is sufficient) In addition, take a small amount of the original color dough and set aside. The remaining dough is divided into 5 equal parts, and the top is wide and the bottom is narrow.
3.
Take about 3g of the original color dough, knead it into a triangle shape (for ears), and make 10 small triangles.
4.
Roll out the red dough and cut out small triangles.
5.
Glue the small red triangle to the original color triangle dough.
6.
Spread a little water on the decorated ear dough and stick it on the main dough.
7.
Put the remaining dough on greased paper according to the above steps, and cover with plastic wrap in time.
8.
Roll out the light black dough and press out 5 round dough pieces of appropriate size.
9.
Spread a little water and stick it on the main body dough to make markings on the eyes.
10.
Add a little dark cocoa powder to the unused light black dough and knead until it is smooth and knead into a darker dough. Take a small amount and roll it into 5 small balls, apply water and stick it on the lower part of the face to make a nose. Then knead 10 small balls of the same size as the eyes, and apply water to stick them to the positions of the eyes. Press the remaining red dough into small round pieces, lengthen it appropriately, press out a mark, and stick it on the nose to make a tongue (this step can be omitted, if you want the Wang Xingren to be more playful, you can add this step.)
11.
After the prepared Wang Xingren fermented twice as large, it is enough to steam it in a pot for 5 minutes.
Tips:
Reminder: The original color dough mentioned in the article refers to the buckwheat colored dough, without the addition of red yeast rice powder and dark black cocoa powder. For each flour with different dilution degree, you can reserve 10g of milk before adding it, and add it according to the specific wetness of the dough. I choose buckwheat flour because the color is closer to the color of the dog's coat.
