Every year on Ching Ming Festival, some foods are prepared in various places for use during the festival. In our hometown, Ching Ming Festival is usually a simple boiled egg. I remember that on the day of Ching Ming when I was a child, children would bring eggs to school, and then "touch the eggs" to see whose eggs are harder.

Youth League is mainly popular in the Qingming Festival food in Jiangsu and Zhejiang, but the practice is slightly different in different regions. Generally speaking, it is a kind of stuffed glutinous rice food dyed green. The fillings are sweet, salty, meat and vegetable.

Generally, wormwood is used for dyeing, but some people don't like the taste, so friends who like it can also use other green vegetable juices instead.

Regarding the fillings, there are bamboo shoots with potherb mustard, sweet-scented osmanthus sesame seeds, spring onions, etc. Today I made the most common bean paste filling. It's coarse bean paste made by myself. "

10. Press the small doses into slices and put on the red bean paste balls.

11. Slowly push up with your hands to close your mouth.

12. After closing the mouth, place it between the palms of your hands and knead it into a smooth green dough.

13. Put a small piece of oiled paper on the prepared Qingtuan blank.

14. Place them evenly into the steamer.

15. In a pot on cold water, steam for about ten minutes, and you can get out of the pot.

Tips:

The qingtuan can be stored for two to three days. If it is not eaten in time, it can be wrapped in plastic wrap so that the taste will not be affected when it is eaten.
