The scones in English afternoon tea are inseparable from oil, especially butter. When enjoying such a high level of butter, it is full of guilt. I suddenly wanted to use avocado instead of butter, and use cheese powder to increase the flavor of milk. Sugar, with a slightly salty taste, is even more refreshing.

Avocado Salted Cheese Scones

1. Prepare the ingredients, the milk is not used, the eggs are 2 and the avocado pulp is taken out

2. Sift low powder, add salt, avocado, and eggs

3. Knead the avocado and flour by hand

4. Put in egg wash, cheese powder, thyme, take the young leaves of thyme, and remove the branches

5. Grab the dough evenly with your hands, wrap it with plastic wrap, and keep it in the refrigerator

6. I refrigerated overnight, took out the dough in the morning, rolled it out a little, and cut into 8 portions with a knife

7. Brush the surface of the dough with egg whites

8. Put it in the oven, 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes

9. Bake until the surface of the dough is colored, take it out, and eat while it is hot

Tips:

If you don’t want the surface to be stained, the temperature of the oven should be reduced to 170 degrees, depending on the temperament of your own oven.
