Ingredients

Baked Bitter Gourd with Egg Yolk

1. Prepare the bitter gourd and salted duck eggs, and the salted duck eggs should be cooked

2. Wash the bitter gourd, cut in half, remove the flesh, and cut directly into semi-circular slices

3. Mix the sliced bitter gourd with a teaspoon of salt and marinate for 5 minutes, then squeeze out the marinated water

4. Take the egg yolk from the duck egg and set aside

5. Heat oil in a wok, add duck egg yolk, crush and fry until fragrant. Oily

Tips:

The duck egg yolk itself is salty, so don’t add too much salt when pickling bitter gourd, you don’t need to add salt later.
