Beef Stew with Tomato

Cut celery into sections.

Slice onion.

Cut the tomato into cubes.

Cut the sirloin into pieces.

Boil the sirloin with cold water in the pot.

Add vegetable oil to the pot, add the sirloin and stir fry for 3 minutes.

Add onions.

Add sliced green onion, ginger, star anise and dried chili and saute until fragrant.

Add the cooking wine to remove the fishy, add the tomatoes and stir well.

Pour in the water that has not been used in beef, bring to a boil, turn to medium-low heat and cook for 40 minutes.

Add celery, pick out the ginger slices, star anise and dried chilies.

Add tomato red sauce and cook until it melts and thickens.
