Hairtail is a kind of marine fish that people like to eat because of its tender body fat and delicious taste. It has high nutritional value.
Today, I used beer to cook the octopus. Cooking the octopus with beer can remove the fishy smell of the octopus very well, and it has a light wheat aroma and makes the fish more tender.

Beer Grilled Octopus

1. Main ingredients: hairtail, beer, cooking wine, pepper, onion, ginger, garlic, star anise

2. Clean the octopus, add a little salt and a teaspoon of cooking wine, and marinate for 30 minutes

3. Slice green onion, ginger and garlic separately

4. The marinated hairtail is covered with a thin layer of dried starch

5. Put edible oil in the pot and fry the octopus soaked in starch

6. When frying, don't rush to turn over one side and set the shape before frying on the other side. There will be yellow garnish on both sides and serve.

7. Put a teaspoon of base oil in the pot, add green onion, ginger and star anise garlic until fragrant.

8. Add the fried hairtail.

9. Add a can of beer

10. Add 1/2 teaspoon dark soy sauce

11. After the big fire has boiled, it should be cooked on a small fire.

12. Bake on low heat for about ten minutes, change the flavor of the octopus to medium heat to thicken the soup.

Tips:

When cleaning hairtail, the black film in the belly of the fish must be removed. This black film is very fishy.
The white layer on the surface of the hairtail is the scales of the hairtail. I am afraid of fishy, so I usually wash them off. Of course, if the fish is fresh enough and you like the taste, just don’t remove the scales.
