Blackcurrant Bread Pudding
1.
Prepare the ingredients
2.
The toast is cut off on all sides, you can also uncut the sides, cut into pieces, or tear it into pieces by yourself
3.
Place it on the greased paper in the baking tray
4.
Preheat the oven at 170 degrees and bake for 10 minutes, and you can see the golden yellow on the surface
5.
Baked toast
6.
Add 20 grams of caster sugar to the whipped cream and put it in the container
7.
Heat over water and stir to melt the sugar, no need to boil
8.
After letting cool, add two egg yolks and mix well
9.
Add milk and mix well
10.
Sift the pudding liquid, the filtered liquid will be more delicate
11.
Prepare a baking bowl, then put a little black currant and almond slices at the bottom of the baking bowl
12.
Melted butter
13.
Dip one side of the toast block with butter liquid
14.
Put it in a baking bowl with dried black currant and almond slices
15.
Pour in the filtered pudding liquid; the liquid does not need to be full, just 8-9 minutes full. I didn't find a suitable bowl, the basin is a little bigger, and the actual liquid is quite a lot.
16.
Sprinkle a little black currant and almond flakes on the surface of the pudding, let it sit for 5 minutes, and let the toast cube slowly absorb the pudding liquid
17.
Preheat the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes, put the pudding bowl into the middle of the oven, and bake at 170 degrees for 30 minutes.
18.
The baked bread pudding is out of the oven.
Tips:
1. Depending on the size of the toast slice, you can choose 2-3 slices. I made the toast by myself. It is relatively small and uses 3 slices.
2. When the bread cube is dipped in butter, just use a thin layer on one side, otherwise it will absorb too much butter and the taste will be greasy.
3. Dried fruits can be replaced with any kind you like.
